In response to the current geopolitical crisis impacting and displacing millions of innocent people, Universal will be donating services to support humanitarian missions sending much-needed medical supplies, food, and other basic necessities into neighboring Poland, Romania Slovakia, and Hungary for Ukrainian refugees.

Effective immediately, Universal Trip Support is waiving its fees on 1) trip feasibility assessments, research, and consultation services and 2) ground handling setup charges (third-party fees still apply) for any mission classified as a humanitarian supply flight helping the people displaced by the conflict in Ukraine.

Like we saw throughout the pandemic and previous disasters like tsunamis and earthquakes, business aviation is stepping up to answer the call for help by Universal is committed to making those missions be successful, and we are putting our global resources and trip management expertise behind them.

Universal Trip Support teams and flight planners are available to help operators understand and navigate the current airspace restrictions. They can give you the best options for delivering relief supplies, coordination of tech stops as a result of airspace routing restrictions, and working with local handlers for moving supplies on the ground.

If you’re considering a humanitarian flight to deliver relief supplies for those impacted by the crisis in Ukraine, contact any of our trip support teams.
